Ah ... the designers have a "reconnect" mechanism when they lose the connection to the data source, which will replace the connection they got at init time with a new one (which they then own). Seems the DSB does not have this (it's kind of a special beast, implementation-wise). If this is much of a problem, I suggest visiting IZ.
