Well, now that you mention it (ehm, well, 'now' is not strictly correct
here): For various reasons, the internal selection notification, which
is simply translated to UNO, works this way.

I agree that this is unexpected behaviour, which should be changed. You
know the next question: Care to visit IssueZilla?
