The existing issue has a too long history already for my taste, so I'd
prefer opening a new one for this particular new facet of the problem.

(Re-opening the existing issue would, strictly, be correct, too. But
re-using already-fixed issues for different flavours of a problem
doesn't make issue handling easier. For instance, imagine that everybody
who has to deal with the issue - including the two instances where the
fix is verified - has to scroll to multiple screen pages to find out
what the issue actually is about, since this changed multiple times
during the life time of the issue.)
