not the item where you asked for comments, but ... Not sure if L10N via configuration is a good idea. Well, it will probably work, but sounds like overkill to me. Don't we have some mechanism/API in the css.script module? UNO dialogs can also be localized, and they a) don't use configuration for this, but Java property files and b) do this completely via UNO API, too. Note I don't know the answer to this question, it's just something I'd like to direct your attention to.
