Tried that just now..no difference.
A couple of things:
- I thought maybe it might have something to do with the JRE. I was
using the new version from the RC1 install 1.6.0_6 but still have some
of the old versions on the machine. So I started walking down the line,
no change till I switched to 1.4.2_03 at which point it did change - no
SRB reports run now, they do not even open a window - the disk gets
active for a while and then it just comes back to the main window
without opening a window or generating an error. Also, I don't have any
of the 1.5.x jre's just the last four 1.6.0_x from the downloads and the
1.4.2_03 needed for another program to work.
- I have a bunch of extensions in this system. I suppose I should really
back all them out just in case. ( for example I have the beta for the
Enhanced Graphics Export installed ( use it every day actually) and I
don't know maybe that does something to the drawing layer functions -
doubt it but who knows )
- Finally, I don't have 2.4 installed so don't really know if the
problem is with the Report Builder alone, the 2.4.1 RC1 alone or really
needs to combination of the two.
I will take the time to put back a clean 2.4.0 and 2.4.1 in parallel and
no other extensions before I do anything further then.
