Hi Max,
Looks nice! I tried it on a IntelMac with Leopard 10.5.5. I will be
using it in the coming weeks occasionally (with Postgres, using jdbc
driver) if I find your OO-build stable. I'll give feedback if I find
issues.
A few little things I bumped into:
- most probably mac specific: bracket-matching doesn't work (simply
nothing happens with the corresponding bracket if I pass over or
select or double-click a bracket)
- possibly also Mac related, but maybe just my oversight: I couldn't
find a way to switch font - but then at some point it switched from a
serife-non-proportional to a non-serife-proportional font, and I
didn't realize exactly when it happened. Now I can't reproduce it but
see the attachements for two font versions. A new query-editor window
will always use the non-proportional serife font, which I like.
- in the options-color dialog a category 'string' appears but doesn't
allow for change (see third attachement). String currently seems to be
hard-coded to a bright green.
As to be expected: two feature wishes: highlight comments and semi-
automatic indenting :). The first one I find quite important...
One question: what's your build version? 3.0 release? On install it
want's to replace my current install, which I actually wouldn't mind
if the differences were only your changes. Currently I use two
installs, in different application-folders, but they share settings
(without myself doing anything about that).
Another question: what do you mean with highlighted 'parameters'?
