Dear Max,
the highlighting is actually done when you enter the bracket, not
when selecting or double clicking, I might add this for the next
version. Does this behaviour work for you?
No, it doesn't.

This is in Tools-Options-OOo-Font
Yes, I found it, its there and works. Monaco looks quite nice but it
seems to be overproportionally large (I sent you an attachement, thats
Monaco with font-size 10 (feels like 14, at least 12 :)). It's
substantially larger than the font in the result-table.

I sent it... I hope I got the right address.

stuff like select * from hi where field=:parameter
Ah, ok, I can't try that with Postgres ... I thought you might also
mean function-parameters. In general it would be lovely to be able to
see functions/stored-procedures as a tree in Base ... but that has
nothing to do with your stuff, I guess...
Thank you for your efforts, this will be a nice feature for Base,
Best

Hi Rainer,
thanks a lot for your testing, let me try to answer your questions...

the highlighting is actually done when you enter the bracket, not
when selecting or double clicking, I might add this for the next
version. Does this behaviour work for you? If not I have to debug
into it on a Mac, which should arrive any time now ;-)

jup, makes sense to me, let's see what I can do

The snapshot is based on m32, so I guess slightly newer than the 3.0
release. Not sure how different versions behave on a Mac, on
Windows, I can install like setup.exe /a, which just copies the
files without system integration into another folder, keeping my old
installation.

stuff like select * from hi where field=:parameter
Best regards
