Hi, May be a simple question, but it not clear for me. If I set inTools>Options>Open/Save>General tab Allways create backup copy, it generate backup file from database file? I Think not, it is real only for other part of OOo, and for Base not. If you read help it is written so general that users think odb file has a back up copy. This is an Issue with Base or OOo Help in general, I will submit it if you think. What could users do has a backup copy generated automatically, it is a question related to lost data during OOo crash, what happens some times suddenly, and all data in memory will, which was not saved will be lost.
