Hi Frank,
I not understand the whole idea why needs these formatting possibilities
in reports.
Similar or look like names, caused in my mind a big mess, rare user
documentation not helped me.
Now your mail clarified the situation.
Frank Schönheit - Sun Microsystems Germany írta:
The format (3.) is applied unconditionally.
OK.
What you specify in the Conditional Formatting dialog (1.) is applied, well,
conditionally, and
supersedes the unconditional format (if the condition is true, of course).
OK.
The Conditional Print Expression does not affect the formatting at all,
instead it controls whether the respective item should be
visible/printed in the final report or not. If you enter a condition,
and this condition evaluates to FALSE for a given data row, then the
field will not be included in the report (in this row!).
This can be inserted into Base help (which neds to be rewrited when SRB
integrated into OOo).
"Conditional Print Expression" it is not understable for me (it is a my
fault :)).
This caused my problems.
Thanks,
Zoltan
