I would encourage the users to view most of the Base related wizards and see how can they improve. Maybe images would make it easier on the users (like impress). Or maybe just design a new wizard keeping in mind of using the existent features. One thing that I was astonshed from learning is that the UI just bring forward just a limited part of the functionality of OOo.
