Excellent - I'm curious however - When you say "get around the
searching problem by adding a command button" do you mean that you
added a Button control to the form and call a macro to display the
search dialog - OR - do you mean that you found the 'Binoculars' on
the Data Navigation tool bar?
I'm sorry about that. I am trying to work on creating the database from
both OOo and MS Access, where the latter was able to provide the search
button. I have no clue how to create macros (maybe i'll read on that
next), but I was able to replicate the database in OOo using your method.
