Howdy Clifton,
A few weeks back I put up a couple of emails, along with an example file
for an Invoicing database. I think this is going to be more along the
lines you are thinking here.
I used the Base file (more or less) that I posted up for a little
'playing around' with a prospective user this week and will be getting
back to it over this weekend...
Question for you - my plan at the moment is to create at least 2
documents (sic). One will be a fully contained simple invoice system
using an embedded Base database...that will be the 'secondary target' .
The primary document will be the same thing working with MySQL.
Which in action means that I will be:
Using MySQL Workbench to create the schema for the project.
I'll put up a link to the .mwb (Workbench created) files as I go.
I would put up the first link right now...but
I used the 5.2 Alpha release under Linux..and it appears the files are
not usable in the current stable releases. I'll redo them to the stable
version first..*arrgh*...
Best wishes,
Drew
