If you use (1:3.2.0~rc4-1) you should also have a file
/usr/lib/openoffice/basis3.2/share/config/soffice.cfg/modules/swform/statusbar/statusbar.xml

Look at the directory name basis3.2

I alos have this version installed and there is openOffice.org 3.2.0 in
"Help -< About" and the contrete version number 1:3.2.0~rc4-1

hope that prevents for confusions
