ifconfig shows an iwn0 device:

iwn0: flags=8802<BROADCAST,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 2290
        ether 00:db:df:2f:0d:5f
        media: IEEE 802.11 Wireless Ethernet autoselect (autoselect)
        status: no carrier

I see there's an /etc/rc.d/wpa_supplicant script that reads an 
/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf file, but the file doesn't exist. Can I check if the 
interface is working by writing such a file and running the script?
