I have not heard anything about this.  In contrast, with Chrome and IE have
started supporting Flash Players natively [1] [2]  This makes it easier for
them to apply security updates very quickly.

You can select a Flash Player version all the way back to 10.2 [3]

would be best.

No you are not.  Apache Flex is still one of the best solutions out there
for cross-browser, cross-platform app development.  It doesn't look like
Apache Flex is going away anytime soon.
