I'm really hoping it's a genuine problem with fsvs and I'm currently not
just making some really stupid mistakes on my side, wasting your time...

Mh, that's easier asked than tried - the repository contains a significant
number of files, the "server" machine is pretty slow and I'm currently on
a crappy mobile UMTS/GPRS internet connection - but I'll give my best to
try... Just do not expect an answer before tomorrow... ;)
