Hi :) If you are using Firefox as your web-browser then try clicking on
Tools - Preferences - Main (or General) About halfway down the page is a browse button to help you choose where to setup a "Downloads" folder. In Windows i tend to create a new folder in "My Documents" and rename the new folder to "Downloads". Most other web-browsers are much the same but if you let us know which web-browser you are uing then someone here might be able to be a bit more specific. Good luck and regards from Tom :) ________________________________ From: MR ZenWiz <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tue, 25 January, 2011 22:07:17 Subject: Re: [libreoffice-users] Desktop icon On Tue, Jan 25, 2011 at 12:58 PM, Cley Faye <[email protected]> wrote: > 2011/1/25 Andy Brown <[email protected]> >> On Tue Jan 25 2011 11:43:49 GMT-0800 (PST) Luuk wrote: >>> On 25-01-11 20:38, J Huntemann wrote: >>> >>>> You can delete the desktop shortcut as well. I never use my desktop for icons or downloads or anything like that, if I can avoid it. The desktop is for windows. -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to [email protected] List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/www/users/ *** All posts to this list are publicly archived for eternity *** -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to [email protected] List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/www/users/ *** All posts to this list are publicly archived for eternity ***
