Hi,
I usually extract the latest rc or beta onto "Filesystem" as root. Then I cd to the folder and run sudo dpkg -iR DEBS/

This seems to have worked well for me. Since I am on Ubuntu 9.10, the PPA doesn't help much.

What is the recommended approach to use any "nightlies" or other beta

all "on the same page".

Thanks!
