I tried to look for a function like that in conditional formatting, but it
does not seem to be there. Would it be a good idea to request this feature
and do you do that? 

If you're writing a book /thesis / longish document, this can be a
dealbreaker when you're considering switching to LibreOffice, because you
don't want to fiddle around with three times the amount of styles you need
in MS Word...
