Hi :) Ouch, the stable ones should work. On Ubuntu 10.04 i just tried opening two files across the Windows Network. The one that i copied onto the file-share over the network opened fine but the other one only opened as read-only. I might try out some experimenting tomorrow but i don't know anything about networking. Good luck and regards from Tom :)
