Hi :) +1 to using xls as being most easily compatible with greatest range of Office Suites. Some images and text-boxes are likely to get re-arranged a bit. It's not a great format and there have been security issues with it but at least it can be easily read by older versions of MS Office. Tools - Options - Load/Save - General can be used to set the defaults so that documents get saved using the old MS 97/2000/Xp formats.
Its safer and better to get people used to using ODF formats by giving people a link to LibreOffice's download page; in the same way that people often give links to Adobe Reader when giving PDFs Regards from Tom :) -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to [email protected] In case of problems unsubscribing, write to [email protected] Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
