Hi Bruce,

Sigrid is correct about the Quickstarter icon being near the clock in the
Taskbar, but I think that you must RIGHT-click on it to see the 'Exit
Quickstarter' option. If you know how, you can check that there are no 3.3
components still loaded by looking for processes in Task Manager...don't worry
if you don't know how to do that!

I am now running 3.4.1, but to me it does seem a bit 'buggy'. It does have
some great new features though. I would say if you want to try the new
features then install it, but if you want a very 'well behaved', stable
product, then maybe stay with the latest version of 3.3 for now?

Regards,

Tony.

Do you see a LibreOffice icon in the task bar close to the clock on your
computer? Looks probably like a sheet of paper with a folded edge. If you see
this icon, do a left click on it. Then a menu will appear. Click on "Deactivate
quick starter" (or something similar - I use the German version). Once you've
done this, you can install the new version of LibreOffice.

Hope this helps.

Sigrid
