This guide helps install multiple versions of LibreOffice

A straight-forwards install that ignores the guide occasionally runs into 
trouble.  I think the problem is when you try to have both versions open at the 
same time.  So, it helps to set the QuickStarter to be off.

Do you see a LibreOffice icon in the task bar close to the clock on your 
computer? Looks probably like a sheet of paper with a folded edge. If you see 
this icon, do a left click on it. Then a menu will appear. Click on "Deactivate 
quick starter" (or something similar - I use the German version). Once you've 
done this, you can install the new version of LibreOffice.
