Truthfully, i am very puzzled because I could not find an obvious
feature or bug that relates to this.
I had to install an English dictionary (Canadian) and probably installed
a few others for occasional use of a foreign word. So I probably have a
French dictionary installed. I can't see where to see what dictionaries
and options are installed.
Under Tools/Options/Language Settings/
I have the default settings for US and Canadian English.
Under Writing Aids there is the
Light Proof Grammar Checker (dicollect_fr_FR) which was turned on
and I have since turned off without any effect.
Also there is a Grammar Checking French option which seems to be present
but there's no way to turn that off.
Also under Tools/Add Ons/
there is a Correcteur Terminologique submenu with a lot of options in
French. No way to know what that's about.
