Great ! I did the job using your workaround : 1. Create a .jpg image : white background + black cross 2. In Writer document : select the cell 3. Menu Table > Table Properties... 3. In "Table format" window > Background > as "image" > select the .jpg file > Type "filing"
And it looks and prints very nice. Thanks all.
