Hi :) I think that the Users List is the best place to initially ask questions. Then part of our job (if we can't easily just fix it) is to sign-post people to the right places for their specific case. Lots of things to do with BSD are likely to need to be sent to the devs list because apps need to be compiled from source and Bsd people quickly become very competent at doing so and also become good at checking documentation quickly.
