Tom: The files that do not open on the NAS work fine when I copy them back to the Windows desktop. You are correct in that the NAS is simply being used for backup, although it does have capability to do a lot more. I don't see a problem with an open discussion about how to find out what protocol is being used by default. I would think that should be common knowledge, but apparently it's not. -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Documents-Not-Opening-On-External-Drive-tp3443972p3449692.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
