for all of the work. In my case the it still

"styles"and the proper application of them. Below is a line that was

TOC. Thisis the beginning part of the directions the site offers;Apply
paragraph styles (Heading1, etc.) to your heading text
and set upoutline numbering (ToolsOutline Numbering) to specify
which paragraphstyles go with what level headings.Maybe the problem of no
clickable links in a TOC for me would
be solvedif I knew what settings to set ANY of the ToolsOutline

of them on

When ithink about it changing it to a wiki-mark-up would need the

tried the relevant chapters in the

in
Chapter 12 ofthe Writer's Guide. I think those 2 pages are probably the

wish people would update official documentation to get
it all in oneplace (or a couple of places) rather than creating obscure
odd pages ofthings that may vanish or never be found. It's fairly easy to

threadhttp://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7t=4466(which
has no screen-shots). There were a few YouTube

watched them and they seem more interested
in advanced orclever ways around perceived limitations rather than the
basic level youand i are on. I'm still trying to work out how to edit an
entry in theToC so that it's not the same as the heading in the
document.Good luck! Regards fromTom :)--- On Sun, 8/1/12,

January, 2012, 3:25Well, somehow I created a TOC with the underlined Entry
names.But....whenever I try to do the "ctrl-click" on the TOC
entry nothinghappens. Also, the TOC entry doesn't have the
"ctrl-click on the nameof the TOC entry" pop up that occurs with a
functional
link.Any ideas?On 01/07/2012 09:45 PM, . wrote:Tom,Nuts. It didn't work.
Truly, I think the problem is
caused by mymisunderstanding of levels. Yes, I understand that
there are levelnumbers in a column that appear in the "Entry" tab.
Levels and stylesare something I've never understood.Oh well. Thanks
anyway.On 01/07/2012 07:45 AM, Tom Davies wrote:Hi :)Chapter 12 of the Writer

too.http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Publications#LibreOffice_Writer_GuideAlso
the dialogue-box itself helps a bit but it
takes a bit ofexperimentation before it really makes sense. It's a bit
weird at firstso it helps to see a few different ways of explaining it.
Once you haveworked it out it's really neat :)Regards fromTom :)--- On

used for each indexentries. If you use the "hyperlink" button when placing
your cursor before andthenafter the entry title, it will create an
