[libreoffice-users] Word wrap in Impress text block

I've gotten a template that somehow forces as split within words as they 
go to the next line, e.g

Here is an exa
mple
instead of

Here is an
example

I haven't found any options within the style that let me suppress a 
break within a word - any users out there know the solution?
