and then choose which version of java you want to try. However, it might be possible to do things another way around to avoid wizards or whatever you need java for. To clarify: I get a message stating that I need to Enable JRE, not Install JRE. Also, the link you point to does not contain downloads for the Mac OS X version. You need to get there through Java Preferences (a system utility) or download it from a third-party site.
