Hi :) Certain characters can sometimes cause problems. It might only be 1 character in that particular path the is causing this. Apparently in English it's worth avoiding a $ in a path or file-name.
Is it possible to get a language pack for the OS? I'm not certain that is where the problem is. If OOo coped then LO should too. Do you still have OOo on your system? So, i think it's most likely that it is the file-name itself that is the problem. Can you give it another japanese name? Perhaps a shorter name? The file name is in Japanese hiragana. When I change the file name to a western font it opens as usual. Why can't I open files with Japanese file names? I have been using 3.3.4 since it's release and I have not had this problem before.
