Okay, all nice to know... but that doesn't help me in the slightest...
Well... my initial finding (the 2 cm thingy) is probably a hint for
debugging.
I found out the problem occurs only in a very specific case:
1) set measurements to point (Tools > Options... > LibreOffice Writer >
General > Measurement unit)
2) modify a new or existing style ("edit paragraph style"), it *doesn't*
happen when using "paragraph style for this selection"
3) go to 'Indents & spacing' tab
4) enter any number larger than 113.4pt in the 'above paragraph' or
'below paragraph' fields (strangely, only these field exhibit the
behaviour...)
5) watch as it always converts to 113.4pt...
I see the same.
BTW :
1. set the measurement unit to centimeters
2. set TextBody style to use 6 cm for Above paragraph
3. test/use TextBody
4. set the measurement unit to points
5. see that TextBody Above paragraph value displays 113.4 pt
(don't touch anything)
6. test/use TexteBody and see that the previous Above paragraph value is
still alive (6 cm equivalent in points)
