Hi~Tom and Daniel: I set the cache to 256MB (Tools - Options - Memory), but the saving time did not change, and Writer still did not accepting any keyboard input during saving the file. Maybe my machine is really too old? (CPU type : Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2300 @ 1.66GHz with 2G DDR2-ram)
