If I select a graphic, say a bullet, that is already on the page, and want to move it 1/10 diameter, I can TRY to move the mouse that short distance, but it is not easy. I have tried using the arrow keys, but they move the graphic about an inch. I have tried key combinations (ctrl-key, etc) but
they don't seem to work any better than the arrow key alone.

[Alt]+[arrow] should do.

Alternatively -- and yet better -- use the Size and Position dialog (right-click, then Size and Position). There you can set the position to an *exact* value.

Note: the reaction to the [arrow] (and combination) highly depends upon the graphics anchoring. Depending upon your needs, Character and As character are likely to be the best choices.

Movements depend on the pageGRID sizes Go to Options, Writer GRID and set de both sizes to their minimum (0,1 mm)
Hope it helps
