Hello, Bear with me, because this is odd, and ONLY happens in LibreOffice; no other application on my system is affected.
After performing system updates on my PCLinuxOS Enlightenment machine, I noticed that my LibreOffice now has blank context (right-click) menus and only show white dashes. The main menus are a bit more puzzling, as they will display the text for most of the entries (File-> Open/Save/etc but not Print or Exit), but if I need to go two menus deep (Insert -> Fields) then the entire second menu will be blank with just white dashes instead of words. Also, the further to the right that the menu is, the visible text in the menus is progressively more cut off (i.e., the Format menu will display "Paragra" instead of "Paragraph" with the rest of the space just blank. The Table, Tools, Window and Help menus are just white dashes. The drop-down menus for Fonts, Styles, and Font Size are completely blank. I can still manipulate documents by typing in fonts/font sizes manually or using keyboard shortcuts. I first tried uninstalling and reinstalling from LOmanager, and this didn't help. I also tried the offline installation. I also went through some of the dependencies of LibreOffice and reinstalled them (glib, etc). Running libreoffice from the command line doesn't produce any messages. I tried changing font sizes and themes - I'm using the same ones I always have, but changing it doesn't affect the issue in any way. Again, this only affects LibreOffice - my installed GNOME/KDE programs such as nautilus, dolphin, browsers etc don't have this issue at all. I'm sure the problem is with some dependency, but I haven't been able to figure it out myself. Does anyone know which libraries would affect menu content? http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/file/n3930138/snapshot3.jpeg snapshot3.jpeg Thank you. twiz -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Empty-Menus-Context-Menus-Toolbars-After-System-Updates-tp3930138p3930138.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
