results while the WinWord user will not notice any difference at all.
You are implying that a file with a .docx
extension but actually in .doc format will be
happily opened by Microsoft Word - that Word will
simply interpret the contents and ignore the
inappropriate extension, that is. Sadly for your
theory, that appears not to be the case.
