I am writing a page in landscape mode (US Letter) and in 2 columns but
when I print it keep printing in portrait mode. Here is what I did:

* I created a new page (US Letter default to portrait)
* then Format->Page->Page -> checked Landscape
* then Format->Page->Columns ->2

Typed in some test text in both columns and printed the page, but the
page keeps coming out in "Portrait" format.

What am I missing?

Marc

You may need to set the page layout in the Printer dialogue to Landscape
in addition to setting the page.

The printer setting is set to landscape already and the preview shows
landscape correctly.

Are you sure, the printer gets this information? Please do not use the print icon from the toolbar, but use File > Print. And there set the paper orientation directly in the property dialog of the printer and print immediately.

Is the printing correct then?

Kind regards
Regina
