I hadn't even noticed the radio buttons before. I think they're only
for showing you what both the front and the back of the envelope look
like when you place it on the tray.
I've had a lot of trouble with OO envelope printing in the past,
depending at least in part on what printer I was using. On my current
printer, I think it started out fine and then one day something changed
and I couldn't get decent output anymore. I just recently replaced my
motherboard (and rebuilt my hard drive from scratch in the process), and
that's when I moved to LO. So far, on LO 3.5.3.2, I haven't had any
problems.

What is the print from top, print from bottom radio buttons for? I do
not see any reason for it.
I cannot be for printer/paper orientation, since all you have to do is
do whatever the printer wants you do to for face-up/down.
I do like the envelope positioning guide window. That make a lot of
sense and I wish I had such a thing when I use to print a lot of
envelopes.

You find the envelopes in a different place in LibreOffice than where
Microsoft puts it.
In the LibreOffice Writer menu, click INSERT. Then click ENVELOPES
(about 2/3 of the way down the list).

HOW DOES ONE TYPE THE ADDRESSES ON ENVELOPES. I DON'T SEE AN
ENVELOPE SECTION ON MY LIBRE OFFICE. LIKE MICROSOFT OFFICE HAS. IS
THE ONLY OPTION I HAVE IS TO GET A LABEL PRINTING PROGRAM AND DO IT
THAT WAY RATHER THAN HAVE THE PRINTER PRINT IT ON?
