When I download extensions, I save them in a folder. Then when
upgrade LO as others have mentioned, I open LO and use Tools > Extension
Manager on the Splash screen. Then I click the Add button to install
them one at a time. For the extensions that will not work on the latest
version of LO, I can always remove them and check for updates.

The Fix is just re-install them. I had 3 to 6 .oxt files to reinstall
when I updated each of my Ubuntu and Windows computers from 3.4.6 to

Well, it would make sense that there might be some concern that the
extensions created for 3.3 and 3.4 would work with 3.5.
