Have you considered 'hiding' these slides --> if you wish to have
them seen, just click on 'show' these -
if they're not desired, the presentation will skip over them;
or
insert a URL which, when you click it, would send you to these
slides - when you wish to return to the main show, click on the URL within
this sub-show -
