Hi :)
It's probably best to download and install the official version from the 
official website rather then one tweaked for Ubuntu

Ppas are often a little out of date. They tend to depend on only one or 2 
people and those people may have other work commitements or other things going 
on in their lives.  Often they are very keen and committed to their Ppa but 
even so it's probably better to get the upstream one from the LO page.
