I am trying to copy this website to text.

When I copy and paste into libreoffice the data in the columns is in
rectangular boxes that I can not do anything with. How can I put this
in text format?
Thanks, Gary

Use Edit >> Paste Special >> Unformatted text in Writer and you get the
text. You can also use a text editor.

Using paste special I am only getting the first column. I am unfamiliar with a text editor. I only use libreoffice for all my text writing and editing. The basic problem is I do not know how to copy the column format into text. I have never tried this before. I have no trouble with the paragraphs or photo.

Thanks, Gary

Gary

I tried Paste Special >> Paste as HTML and there were two columns. HTML can produce complex tables if someone takes the time to code.

Text editors such as Notepad (Windows) do not support complex formats that Write supports. They only produce pure text. This tends to strip out of the file any formating commands, tables, etc.
