Hi :) The mailing list carefully strips out attachments to try to avoid getting people's inboxes clogged. It's better to upload your file to somewhere and then give people the link to that uploaded file.
Nabble does the whole thing in one go. Either click on the link in this email or go to the LibreOffice official website and then navigate "Get Help" - Nabble and then find this thread. Using the Nabble interface just reply to any of the comments in this thread and just above the message box where you can type your reply in there are various buttons including "More". The top option in the "More" button is to "upload file". This places the link in the message box. Uninstalling and reinstalling seldom does anything these days. It used to be a good way to "get back to factory defaults" but even proprietary programs are beginning to use a "user profile" that stores all the settings and configurations and other things so that a reinstall or upgrade just picks up on everything the user wanted without forcing them to hunt through all the settings and stuff each time. So, please could you try renaming the user profile https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/UserProfile Also please let us know which format you are saving in. If you are using any Word format, such as Doc or DocX then please try saving in native Odt format. Have you tried other programs? Are other programs having the same problem when you save to the same place? Where are you trying to save documents? Local hard-drive, network fodler, usb-stick, Cd?
