Hi :)
Thanks Alex!  I guess we would rather have devs working on more widely used 
stuff.  It's always possible to put these ideas forwards possibly for 
Extensions and just see if that sparks a new dev into working on LibreOffice.  
I was wondering if there was already an Extension for OpenOffice or something 
lurking around some long forgotten corner of the internet but i guess the 
original poster would have already tried googling for that sort of thing.

but if Apple are no longer supporting their own formats then i doubt anyone 
else will be keen to!
