The last section is the Alphabetic Index. Running Ubuntu 12.10 with LibreOffice 4.0.3.3. Perhaps you can post a PDF of what you are actually seeing with your LibreOffice? Ideally you would make a copy of the document and then try to simplify it; remove text so that the document is much smaller, but still exhibits the issue. If you manage to make it very small, then it would make it easier for someone to investigate the OpenDocument inner structure in case something it wrong.
