I noticed that 4.1.2.3 for Debian 64-bit [Ubuntu 12.04LTS/MATE] is missing the "generic" menu launcher listing for LO. The one that does not go directly to any of the modules, like Writer or Calc.
Was that menu "listing" removed or was there some install problem. For 4.0.5, I keep the desktop launcher icons for: LibreOffice 4.0 LibreOffice 4.0 Writer LibreOffice 4.0 Calc on my desktop screen, plus the "generic" and Writer icons on the top launch panel. The menu "links" are listed in Applications>Office So, was that "generic" launcher link removed from the list that is placed in the Applications>Office menu? Or did something happen to my install process? As I stated, I run Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with the latest MATE desktop environment. [looks something like GNOME 2.6?] Linux Mint has a MATE desktop version as well. As I stated, I like to have that "generic" launcher on my desktop screen and the top panel. If it is no longer available, then I will have to "live without it". I am in no hurry to go back to 4.1.2, due to a font menu issue that is a show stopper for me and my 660+ installed fonts. So I will be waiting for 4.1.4 or so before I switch my main desktop to that line. 4.0.5 does not have the issue. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
