I noticed that 4.1.2.3 for Debian 64-bit [Ubuntu 12.04LTS/MATE] is missing the "generic" menu launcher listing for LO. The one that does not go directly to any of the modules, like Writer or Calc.

So, was that "generic" launcher link removed from the list that is placed in the Applications>Office menu? Or did something happen to my install process?
[cut] It's been accidentally omitted I would guess, as I've noticed the same thing.
As I stated, I like to have that "generic" launcher on my desktop screen and the top panel. If it is no longer available, then I will have to "live without it".
[cut] Why not just create it - as I did - rather than "live without it"?
