1) When data is in the spreadsheet, is simple to do it in one column. Select the cell(s) to convert from text to number in one column. Menu/Data/Text to columns - Separating by (nothing selected)
2) With Search & Replace Search for: .* Replace with: & With regular expression selected in Other options.
