Hey Alex, I was thinking of clearing out my home while I was at work today.

I just moved .libreoffice to .libreoffice.old, and .openoffice.org to
.openoffice.org.old

That didn't seem to make any difference. When I went to Tools/Options
to check the settings there nothing was changed. I also scanned the
folders in my home after restarting LO and making a change in the
settings but didn't find any new folder.

Do you know where LO keeps it's settings?

I'm using the version of LO that is packaged with CentOS 6.5. It might
not be cutting edge, but it's supposed to work. That's what CentOS is
all about.

In the mean time I'm going to try installing the latest available JRE.
