I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but if you hit <shift+ctrl+v>
you will see several options, including one to paste the text as
unformatted.
It's a *wonderful* option.

I sometimes would like a shortcut for pasting unformatted text, without
the popup, or for the right click menu to have paste unformatted on it.
Or more adaptively for the right click menu to add the last used paste
special option after Paste.
